WHPS believes that every student should be provided with equitable access to participate in the exchange of information and build strong relationships in our local and global community through innovative applications of technology. To support the WHPS vision for technology, students in all elementary schools create and curate a positive, productive digital footprint through the use of a private learning journal with SeeSaw for Schools.

The primary reason for supplying this tool is to fully access our curriculum and promote digital citizenship by organizing a private portfolio of student work. SeeSaw captures student learning in all forms, making it a powerful window into what is happening in any class in your child’s elementary school. Parents can sign up to get notifications when content is loaded into their child’s digital portfolio and even leave a comment to encourage achievement. Access to this portfolio is limited to the student and their parents, teacher, and school’s administrator. Before use, teachers carefully review the Student Responsible Use Guidelines with their class.

Click here to visit the Seesaw Help Center, which includes getting started tips, tutorial videos, activity ideas, FAQs, and more.
