Students are responsible for payment for lost or damaged books.
What happens if I forget my library books?
If students forget to bring their library books, they may choose a book for the save shelf. They can check these books out if they return/renew their books within two days.
All students are taught how to select a "just right" book at the beginning of the school year. This lesson is reinforced throughout the year as they are assisted in finding at least one book to check out that is an appropriate book for them to read independently. Students may also check out other books that are interesting to them.
