We hope your child will be reading over the summer, not only to maintain the gains they have made this year, but we also want them to view reading as a fun activity!
We were recognized for being a top-performing school in the 2016 Governor's Summer Reading Challenge and we want to continue to have Morley students read and return their summer reading logs for the 2017 Challenge of Build a Better World!
This year's incentive from Mr. Cleary:
"GET PRIMED SLIMED for Reading!!!"
With their final report cards, students will receive information regarding suggested lists and how to submit reading logs. Students in K-2 will receive a paper log as they have in the past. Students in grades 3-5 will submit their logs online at the West Hartford Public Library summer reading site: Click HERE (You will need to sign up for an account for Wandoo Reader). If your K-2 student wants to use an online log, they should click here.
