Mission Statement

The mission of Mary Louise Aiken Elementary School is to ensure that each child develops skills, knowledge, and a shared set of values, as a foundation for life-long learning, responsible citizenship and the realization of individual potential, through a rigorous curriculum, outstanding teaching, and an enthusiastic and involved parent community.

Aiken School Goals

• Students will increase performance in reading and math, kindergarten through grade 5, based on formative and interim assessment data using research-based effective teaching strategies.
• To increase reading and math proficiency for special education and English language learners by 5-10% annually, as measured by the CMT.
