My name is Christin Labriola. I am lucky to have been teaching Kindergarten here at Webster Hill for 6 amazing years! I received my education at the University of Connecticut and Central Connecticut State University, obtaining degrees in English and Spanish.
This year my husband and I welcomed into our growing family our second son, Drew, in late September. He joins his big brother, Luke, who is almost 3 and our Boxer, Boomer.
I love working with the children, families and my colleagues in our wonderful Webster Hill community!

Important Kindergarten Information
This folder should go back and forth each day between home and school. Your child’s teacher checks the folder every morning for important notes from you and likewise, please check the folder each night for notes from the teacher/school/town and your child’s work.
Lunch is from 11:30-12:00 every day. Please feel free to join your child for lunch, just remember to stop in the office first to sign in and get a Guest Sticker. If the weather is nice, your child may pick one friend to take out into the courtyard to eat. Please remember there are classes attached to that area that may be in session, so enjoy your lunch seated at the tables out there. Also, please know that we teach our children not to share food because of allergies, so please don’t bring food or buy ice cream for children other than your own. Thank you.
Recess is from 12:05-12:35 every day. If you are visiting for lunch, please say goodbye to your child at the end of the lunch period so that your child can go outside and play with his/her peers, a valuable time of the day. And don’t forget to stop by the office on the way out, to sign yourself out.
Please send in a healthy nut-free snack every day with your child. Because of the early dismissal on Wednesdays, our schedule might not permit time for snack so your child may bring it home on those days.
If your child would like to have a school Birthday Celebration, please contact your child’s teacher prior to the birthday to set up a day/time for you to bring in a Birthday Snack. Remember that we are a Healthy Snack school, so please talk with your child about choosing a healthy snack to bring in like pretzels, fruit kebabs, bagels, muffins, or instead of food you can come in and read a story to the class or pass out pencils, etc.
If there is a change in your child’s dismissal, please contact the office and, if at all possible, send in a note to your child’s teacher in the Home/School Folder that morning.
As the weather changes, please send in warmer or cooler clothes for your child to have at school in case of an accident. We will send home notices to remind you.
Twitter: Please follow your child’s teacher to get “up-to-the-minute” pictures and descriptions of what’s happening in Kindergarten each day.
Ask Me About: Each Friday your child’s teacher will send home a list of questions to ask your child about the previous week’s learning. Please take a few minutes over the weekend to discuss these questions/topics with your child. This helps in the learning process if they can recall information learned and teach others.
