Technology CEU Waivers

Teachers who are employed in a position requiring an elementary or middle grade endorsement and teachers who are employed in a position requiring a secondary academic endorsement must complete at least 15 hours of training in the use of computers in the classroom during each five-year period, unless such employees are able to demonstrate technology competency. The 15-hour requirement is included in the 90-hour requirement and is not in addition to the 90-hour requirement.

Each year the Curriculum Office offers the opportunity for teachers to obtain a technology waiver. These opportunities are of limited space and are on a first-come-first-served basis.
