Columbus Day (no school): Oct. 10

Veterans Day (no school): Nov. 11

Thanksgiving Recess (no school): Nov. 24, 25

Holiday Recess (no school): Dec. 26 - Jan 2

End of Second Quarter (End of Semester1):
Jan 26 - Middle Schools, Jan 27 - High Schools

Martin Luther King Day (no school): Jan. 16

Winter Recess (no school): Feb. 20 - 24

CMT and CAPT Testing:  March 1- 21

End of Third Quarter:
April 7 - Middle Schools,  April 10 - High Schools

Spring Recess (no school): Apr.14 - 21

Memorial Day (no school): May 29

End of School Year: June 23 (Due to Snow Days on Dec. 9, Jan. 3 & 23 )

The official last day of school will be FRIDAY, JUNE 23, 2006. June 22 and 23 will be snow related make up days and will be shorter days that follow the emergency closing times:

High Schools at 11:00 AM
Middle Schools at 11:45 AM
Elementary Schools at 1:00 PM

School principals should put this information in their next school newsletter including whether or not your school will be serving lunch on those days. Thank you.
