Student Smoking and Other Tobacco Use and Possession
Students may not smoke, use, or possess tobacco in any form anywhere in school buildings, on school grounds, in the vicinity of the school, or at school-sponsored activities.
Alcohol and Drugs
Students may not use, possess, sell, or distribute alcohol or any controlled drug anywhere in school buildings, on school grounds, in the vicinity of the school, or at school-sponsored activities.
Use, possession, sale or distribution of alcohol or controlled drugs in other settings, including private homes, may also be grounds for disciplinary action, at the discretion of the district administration. Such disciplinary action will be progressive, will be accompanied by support and education, will include an appeals process, and will be applied uniformly to participants and members in all student activities.
