FLAT STANLEY VISITS THE BIG APPLE On Wednesday 5-17-00, Flat Stanley arrived in Brooklyn, New York. He stayed at his Grandma’s house for two days. On Thursday, Grandma took him to the Bronx Zoo. He rode on the backs of elephants and camels and he watched the monkeys do funny tricks and he saw many more animals. He had a delicious lunch and snacks. On Friday, Grandma took him to Coney Island. It’s a fun place.  He went on the ferris wheel, bumper cars, merry go rounds, and many
more rides. He had delicious food, ice cream, cotton candy, pop corn, and also a big teddy
bear to take home. Flat Stanley had fun in New York. |
