WOW! What a trip!

I got to California on January 5, 2001 and got to stay for a whole MONTH!

I went to stay with a friend and ended up doing so many things.

First off we went to Hollywood Blvd. – home of the Stars – OK, the home of the star’s footprints!! I didn’t realize just how big Tom Hanks and Arnold Schwartznegger’s feet and hands are! Arnold left a message for me saying "I’ll be back" but I waited and waited and he never returned!

While we were there I spotted Elvis Presley and Marilynn Monroe! I asked if I could take a picture with them and they were more than happy to oblige! Two huge stars in the same place – we lucked out!

Then I was taken to Beachwood Blvd. Where you get a great view of the Hollywood sign. I came out a little fuzzy in the shots but the sign is crystal clear! And see what a beautiful day it was. The weather is California is beautiful

On another outing we went to a very large Dogpark. It’s five acres all fenced in and the dogs are all off leash and playing with each other! I’ve never seen so many dogs all in one place. The photo shows only one part of the dogpark, there’s another whole section. Then my CA friend took me to get a hot dog! I insisted she take a photo of me with the hot dog cart because it was the best hot dog I’ve EVER had!

Then she took me to Runyon Canyon to go hiking. I learned that I’m in really good shape. The best part was getting to the top of the mountain. I climbed some twigs and on a clearer day you would’ve been able to see downtown Los Angeles behind me! I still think it’s a pretty good picture of myself though! On the way down the mountain there was a horse ranch with 2 horses and some goats! We fed the horses some carrots and one of them, named Rebel, really took a liking to me!

I ended my tour at the Television Show ACCESS HOLLWOOD! It was so exciting. It’s on the NBC lot in Burbank. They film a bunch of TV shows at this lot including Days of our Lives! I was really in luck because on the set of Access Hollywood they were just getting ready to film the show and they let me jump into the photo with Nancy O’Dell and Pat O’ Brian! They were so nice and I think that Nancy has a crush on me!

Oh well, I have to break her heart because I leave today for my trip back to CT! I’m actually excited to get home so I can share my experiences with everyone!
