Students progressing from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade at
Whiting Lane will explore areas of Earth, Life, Physical Science, and Science
and Technology. The
standards of content knowledge and the scientific process are carefully designed
to rise from basic to more complex. Each unit of study incorporates
inquiry-based instruction, which means that students build their knowledge about
the world and how it works by exploration and experimentation. Below is an
overview of the K-5 units of study.
