Scope and Sequence

Students progressing from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade at Whiting Lane will explore areas of Earth, Life, Physical Science, and Science and Technology.  The standards of content knowledge and the scientific process are carefully designed to rise from basic to more complex.  Each unit of study incorporates inquiry-based instruction, which means that students build their knowledge about the world and how it works by exploration and experimentation.  Below is an overview of the K-5 units of study.
