What will my child learn in physical education class?
Physical Fitness
- What it means to be physically fit.
- Exercises to meet their young needs.
- Safe exercise for a lifetime of fitness.

Movement Education
Movement concepts explored in a non-competitive environment.
- Spatial work involves use of the body alone as it moves through space on
floor and other apparatus.
- Rhythm: the movement of the body in a rhythmical nature.
- Perceptual motor activities: eye hand and eye foot coordination

Problem Solving
Using this approach will help children to participate successfully at their
ability level. They will:
- Develop a positive self image.
- Work in small and large groups.
- Help one another share and think.
Good Safety Habits
Children will learn good safety habits to keep them safe in and out of
school.
