It's Not Easy Being Green!

This month to supplement our Conservation Science Unit, our third graders are raising awareness of activities that promote an eco-friendly lifestyle.  We have used ideas taken from the book Journey for the Planet:  A Kid's Five Week Adventure to Create an Earth-friendly Life written by, David Gershon.  Click on the title of the book for information on how you can purchase your own copy.
Every Thursday of the month, our grade is encouraging members of our community to participate in our own Earth Hour.  From 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. every Thursday night, we are pledging to turn off all the lights in and outside our houses as a statement for conserving energy.  Click on the links below for printable information about how you can join our cause!
