Author Study: Chris Van
Allsburg
Each year the fourth
grade students at Whiting Lane get to study the works of
author/illustrator Chris Van Allsburg. This year's students
got to participate in a special treat: a web conference with
the man himself! Students gathered in the library and listened
to the esteemed storyteller read and discuss his famous work, The
Garden of Abdul Gasazi. Afterwards the students got to ask
him questions about his life as an author.
