MUSIC/LANGUAGE GROUP
A Music-based Language group is conducted in each classroom once a week. These sessions are led by a Speech/Language Pathologist/Music Therapist. Activities include "Hello" and "Goodbye" songs, songboards, movement activities, and the use of rhythm instruments. Songs are chosen to coordinate with curricular themes. By use of adaptive equipment such as augmentative communication devices, all students participate successfully.
