We have been making connections to ourselves, to other texts, and to the world, together with making mental images, so that we can understand the stories we read and we can be better readers!

We have been asking questions about pictures to give us ideas for stories we can write ourselves in the Writing Wizards center.  We are also learning how to use other words for “said” to make the stories we write more interesting.
