Third Grade

Third grade is a pivotal year.  Your child will learn to become a more independent student and thinker.  We will focus on helping your child to develop more in depth responses to their learning as well as meeting the high expectations of producing quality work.

As third graders we will explore our world and the properties of matter.  We will learn about habitats and natural resources to become better stewards of our Earth. All of our scientific learning will be inquiry based.

We will compare and contrast the cultures of the West Indies and United States.  In addition, students will find similarities and differences between the Native American tribes.

Come see us grow as we improve our reading, writing and math skills as we prepare for the Connecticut Mastery Test for the first time.
