| The Marie Louise
Aiken Elementary School was founded on Sunday, December 6, 1964.
It was named in honor of Marie Louise Aiken, a Sedgewick Junior High
School teacher and counselor from 1931 to 1961. "Miss Aiken, one of the most inspired and devoted teachers of our time, was respected and loved by every student. Her sympathetic and helpful manner attracted students to her, and regardless of time or place, she was never too busy to assist." -author unknown |
