Performance Indicators

This tool is to help measure your current level of expertise and to outline those areas which you should continue to learn and practice. First complete the checklist and check the box next to the statement that best reflects your current level of skill attainment. Once you have gone through the list checking all those that apply, complete the Summary page to get a better idea of your overall skill. Then refer to the matrix to determine which courses will provide instruction to augment your skills.

Kindergarten through Grade 5 Technology Competency Standards for Students

Our standards are based upon the ISTE NETS Project: a strong collaborative participation of both curriculum associations and partnering education organizations. The NETS Project is especially appreciative of funding received through multiple sources. Contributors to the project include: Apple Computer, Inc., Milken Exchange on Education Technology, National Aeronautics and Space  Administration (NASA), and the U.S. Department of Education. See http://cnets.iste.org/index2.html for the original document.

These standards teach that.....
